Impact Fellowship 2019: Are you ready to take action for women's rights and social justice?

Brave, bold activists work everyday on the frontlines of communities across the U.S. tackling critical issues that are shaping the present and future of our rights. They deserve our support and now is the time to take a stand!

We invite you to become a Tech2Empower Advisor for our 2019 Impact Fellowships. Tech2Empower connects teams from social justice and women's rights organizations from across the United States with dedicated, skilled Advisors from top companies. These two powerful, inspiring groups will come together during the program, and will work in teams in community trainings, exchange learning meetings and on impact projects that will advance the work of the nonprofits and create new alliances and amplify the voices and reach of these social justice leaders.

How does the Impact Fellowship work?

Guided by WAKE and the host organization, Advisors will visit with community groups and meet in person with social justice leaders to learn and better understand key challenges faced locally, as well as work directly with the host organization on the Fellowship Project. This year, we are traveling to Washington D.C to collaborate with Running Start and Louisiana to collaborate with Citizen SHE.

Use your professional skills to tackle priority projects identified as urgent by the women's rights and social justice organizations participating in Tech2Empower.

Why become a Tech2Empower advisor for the Impact Fellowship?

By volunteering with Tech2Empower, you will meet and support inspiring women’s rights and social justice leaders from diverse regions of the U.S., and also connect and collaborate with peers from your industry with a shared passion for activism. Your contributions to this effort will have a tremendous, positive impact on these issues and these organizations, and you will have fun too!

In 2018, we launched our first Impact Fellowship and supported the New Orleans Abortion Fund (NOAF) and the Louisiana Public Health Institute (LPHI), on the development of communications and tech projects to advance their work on reproductive rights, health and sex education.
