WHAT WE DO

Women's rights and social justice leaders and organizations around the world are addressing the most critical issues impacting vulnerable communities: reproductive rights and justice, gender-based violence and sexual assault, legal rights, LGBTQIA rights, discrimination and racism, access to education, political participation, and economic opportunity.

Through Tech2Empower, we bolster this movement by getting technology expertise to its leaders and organizations to amplify their impact.

In March 2019, we’ll bring together women's rights and social justice activists from nonprofit organizations across the United States for tech training and community-building in San Francisco. At the core of Tech2Empower USA is a project-based hackathon - Tech2Empower Impact Challenge for Women's Rights and Social Justice - held on March 8th, International Women’s Day.

[Cohort Announcement]
Meet our Tech2Empower USA 2019 Cohort

We are thrilled to announce the organizations that will join us for Tech2Empower USA this year. A diverse cohort of 41 women's rights and social justice leaders from 18 organizations from 11 states across the country has been selected to participate in the program. These brave, bold activists work every day on the frontlines of communities across the U.S., tackling critical issues that are shaping the present and future of our country and our rights.

We received an incredible number of applications from nonprofits and volunteer advisors. It's wonderful to see so many social justice organizations and top tech professionals interested in working together to leverage the power of technology to advance women's rights and social justice.
