We harness the power of technology, volunteering and collaboration to help move the needle for equality and social justice globally.Women's rights and social justice leaders and organizations around the world are addressing the most critical issues impacting vulnerable communities: reproductive rights and justice, gender-based violence and sexual assault, legal rights, LGBTQIA rights, discrimination and racism, access to education, political participation, and economic opportunity. Through Tech2Empower, we bolster this movement by getting technology expertise to its leaders and organizations to amplify their impact. .What We DoTech2Empower is a unique program especially designed to leverage the power of technology in supporting change-makers by getting technology expertise to women leaders in the NGO sector, social entrepreneurs and to girls’ schools. We do this by connecting them with teams of volunteer Advisors from top companies like Google, Salesforce, YouTube and Visa, who provide hands-on project work, feedback, mentoring and training on technology tools and platforms. Tech2Empower USAWAKE brings together women's rights and social justice nonprofit leaders across United States for tech training, project work and community-building for three days in San Francisco. At the core of Tech2Empower USA is a project-based hackathon - the Impact Challenge. Impact FellowshipsAt this critical moment in our history, we feel it is not only critical, but urgent to allocate resources, expertise and energy to bolster the next generation of women leaders. In 2019, the Impact Fellowship theme is strengthening women’s voice and influence in politics.
